sweet thing

let's agree about this, if someone ever say to you he/she is making up him/herself as bowie, it is at least necessary to be asked which one of bowie's phases he/she is doing and not straight think about the aladdin sane cover

love how subtle (ok! on bowie's neverland) and pretty his make up is on this interview

and my favorite ever (that i've actually tried once to reproduce on me but in a white and unsuccessful version)  from the cover of pin ups

but if you are still interested on the flash of lightning, here is a good tutorial

shady shades

make up done by inge grognard for martin margiela (spring/summer 2003)

she spray painted vintage sunglasses in black and refitted their original graduated lenses.

the make up was outlined in black and later filled in with the same colour in order to resemble the shape of the original shades.

i'm always seeing these oranges girls walking around and i'm wondering if they could be blue for a change. nothing against orange is just this fake tan thing that i need someone to explain to me.

so happy i could die

wife of the realistic dutch painter carel willink, mathilde willink had a mysterious death and a controverted life. is said that she was an extremely wild shopper of haute couture and she ruined mr willink with her lifestyle. when he left her, she slashed his paintings. fair enough. i love her experimentalism with make-ups and how she reminds me gaga a bit.
