'i see blue, i don't see red anymore,
nor yellow. this bothers me terribly because i know that these colors exist, because i know that there is red, yellow, a special green, a particular purple on my palette. i don't see them anymore as i used to see them in the past, and however i remember very well how it was like.'

'i had to come all the way from the highways and byways of tallahassee, florida to motor city, detroit to find my true love
if you gave me a million years to ponder, i would never have guessed that true romance and detroit would go together. and to this day, the events that followed all seem like a distant dream. but the dream was real and was to change our lives forever. i kept asking clarence why our world seemed to be collapsing and everything seemed so shitty. and he'd say: 'that's the way it goes. but don't forget, it goes the other way too.' that's the way romance is. usually that's the way it goes. but every once in a while, it goes the other way too.'
pandrogyne project
marie losier's the ballad of genesis and lady jaye movie 'is both the most romantic and the saddest film' according to the telegraph. is about the sexual transformation project created by genesis breyer p-orridge from the avant-garde music and visual arts group throbbing gristle, and the punk-rock band psychic TV and his other half and collaborator, his wife lady jaye.

let's hate the girl with blonde hair
chandra was 12-years-old when she recorded 4 songs for 'transportation' ep in the early-80′s new york club scene. she's daughter of the conceptual artist dennis oppenheim who was well acquainted with the artists and musicians of the late 70's lower east side.
love this obscure pre-teen temperament.

i can't stop listening
'the songs aren’t really about anything in particular. sometimes they are little stories. but most of the time the lyrics are secondary. they’re more colours than something with fixed meaning. even if the voice is incomprehensible, even if the lyrics don’t stick out... our brains are programmed to want to hear a voice. but basically we’re like an instrumental band.'

'but why would I want to do a thing like that? i chose not to choose life
i chose somethin' else. and the reasons? there are no reasons. who needs reasons when you've got heroin?'
