so happy i could die

wife of the realistic dutch painter carel willink, mathilde willink had a mysterious death and a controverted life. is said that she was an extremely wild shopper of haute couture and she ruined mr willink with her lifestyle. when he left her, she slashed his paintings. fair enough. i love her experimentalism with make-ups and how she reminds me gaga a bit.

dance with me

'once you've actually died on stage... i mean, how do you top that?'

山本 耀司

yohji yamamoto is being featured in this victoria and albert exhibition which shows a sample of his unusual and brilliant point of view. his oversized and unfinished's from 80's, his work with felt and neoprene, some of his menswear which i particularly adore, a timeline of his catwalks and even one of his cds where he recorded his friends, like wim wenders, speaking through sounds. i was upset cause i was feeling like taking all that stuff with me.
i recommend going and get inspired with his great esthetic sense.

check his best collection of menswear ever ss 2004. i'm definitely looking forward to see this men.
